Japanese foreign national had cash requirements for another business opportunity in Tokyo. They owned the subject property free and clear since 1988. The borrower's flight to Japan was scheduled to depart in 4 hours and a loan commitment was needed to secure the opportunity. SFG principals inspected the property and 30 minutes later were meeting with the borrower (literally sitting on their luggage in the hotel lobby)while the SFG support staff faxed the commitment to the hotel. Four days later, the borrower flew back to Seattle to execute the loan documents.
